competency 6: as our learning design team finalized the remedial Excel module for our client, we began to look at student data. since the module was given to a small group of "typical" learners for this course our team wanted to know not only if they were able to complete the module successfully (as captured by the module itself), but if completing the course increased their confidence. understanding learner motivation allowed the team to make small changes in the content and delivery before going live. we knew what portions of the module weren't having the desired outcome and were able to adjust accordingly.
