competency 1: working with a client is never without its pitfalls. during our initial meeting, the client, subject matter expert, and designer (richie) identified the institutional problem and goals. creation of storyboards followed. this allowed all stakeholders to have a clear vision of the designer's potential path. the client and subject matter expert both made suggestions to the functional layout, color scheme, and content of the module. without the storyboards, the team ran the risk of miscommunication in the design and implementation of the module and lessons. this document and the accompanying meeting averted potential issues and delays to the project.
